About Us
It all started with a POP! During our second semester of sophomore year, AJ and I decided that we wanted to start selling treats. However, with the lack of a kitchen, it didn't leave us with many options, so we decided to create Spectacular Popcorn. With Spectacular Popcorn, we were able to sell chocolate covered popcorn, giving the salty treat a new sweet spin. When we first started, a lot of people really enjoyed it as it was something they never had before and it was pretty delicious. We had a few reoccurring customers and everything was starting to pick up and go well.
However, just as soon as we got started, COVID-19 happened and we were forced off campus. Being off campus, made it more difficult to sell our popcorn, and so we postponed our popcorn making. When plans of the next school year were in discussion, we decided that now that we would have a kitchen accessible to us, it would be easier to pursue our original plan and have multiple treats. But we didn't want to do regular treats, we wanted to stand out and transform the ideas of what people think of as sweet, like how we did with our popcorn. Thus, we decided to create vegan desserts in our new line and rebrand ourselves as Spectacular Treats, to incorporate our new products.

While we are currently still in a pandemic, we realize that shipping our vegan desserts would be a lot easier than shipping our popcorn. So if you've been with us since we were Spectacular Popcorn, we thank you for your support, however at this time, we will only be creating our vegan desserts so that we can follow procedures that will keep everyone safe during this pandemic as well as so your treats can come to you in good shape.

In the future, we hope to bring in more desserts and bring back our first product, the popcorn. Thank you for your support and we can't wait to receive your orders!
